By signing up for hosting with Stonefield Site Services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

Billing –

  • Payment must be made within 5 days of the due date or services will be suspended until payment is received.
  • A $10.00 late fee will be assessed on all invoices not paid within 5 days of the due date.
  • Hosting is auto renewing unless other arrangements have been made.  If the hosting plan is cancelled, it will remain active until the next due date.
  • By signing up for hosting, you are agreeing you are authorized to use the payment method associated with your billing.
  • The customer may be liable for fees which are presented in the form of NSF or dispute fees.

What is included in Hosting –

  • Packages do not include Domain registration unless otherwise stated.
  • We are not responsible for damages to your business due to hosting.
  • Maintenance of installations, plugins, themes or compatibility are not covered unless otherwise stated.
  • Your use of this service is at your sole risk. Our backup service runs twice a week, overwrites any of our previous backups made, and only one week of backups are kept. This service is provided to you as a courtesy.

Hosting Regulations –

  • Emails must abide by the Can-Spam Act. No more that 500 emails per hour. All mailing lists must be double opt in and all removal requests honored or your hosting will be terminated immediately without a refund.
  • All WordPress Installations must have a secure password and must keep the security plugins installed and active. WP-Robot is not permitted on our servers due to CPU resource usage.
  • No hosting of Warez or copywritten merchandise. Hosting can be terminated immediately with no refund if you are found hosting unacceptable content.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Any material that, in our judgment, is obscene, threatening, illegal, or violates our terms of service in any manner may be removed from our servers (or otherwise disabled), with or without notice.
  • Failure to respond to email from our abuse department within 48 hours may result in the suspension or termination of your services. All abuse issues must be dealt with via troubleticket/email and will have a response within 48 hours.
  • To report spam on our networks or a violation of our Terms of Service on our networks please email abuse @
  • Potential harm to minors is strictly forbidden, including but not limited to child pornography or content perceived to be child pornography (Lolita):Any site found to host child pornography or linking to child pornography will be suspended immediately without notice.Violations will be reported to the appropriate law enforcement agency.
  • Customer agrees that it shall defend, indemnify, save and hold Stonefield harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable attorney’s fees asserted against Stonefield, its agents, its customers, officers and employees, that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sold by customer, its agents, employees or assigns. Customer agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Stonefield against liabilities arising out of; (1) any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or otherwise distributed in connection with Stonefield; (2) any material supplied by customer infringing or allegedly infringing on the proprietary rights of a third party; (3) copyright infringement and (4) any defective products sold to customers from Stonefield’s server.

Uptime Guarantee –

  • If the server has a physical downtime that is not within the 99% uptime you may receive a credit on your account. Approval of the credit is at the discretion of Stonefield based on justification provided. Third party monitoring service reports may not be used for justification due to a variety of factors including the monitor’s network capacity/transit availability. The uptime of the server is defined as the reported uptime from the operating system and the Apache Web Server which may differ from the uptime reported by other individual services. To request a credit, please contact our billing department with justification. All requests must be made in writing via email.
